Claudia Saavedra is a passionate theatre maker and producer who thrives in creative environments. Starting her journey in performing arts, she moved into devising as part of ensemble-led projects, and has recently expanded her focus to writing and producing. She enjoys being involved in every phase of a project, from initial concept to actualisation, and loves working in fast-paced settings that require multitasking while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Producing theatre has become her strongest skill, where she merges her diverse background in performance and storytelling with her organisational abilities. She’s well-versed in all aspects of the Edinburgh Fringe, having mastered the festival from start to finish, ensuring her shows succeed both on and off stage. As a Theatre Artist in Residence with Flintlock Theatre, Oxfordshire, she was awarded a full bursary sponsored by The Oxford Playhouse. During this prestigious residency, she received expert guidance on developing her theatre practice, focusing on small-scale theatre production, strategic planning, and story development. This experience further sharpened her skills in creative development and managing productions. Currently, she is focusing on comedy and producing online content, bringing her creative flair and producing expertise into the digital space.
