I am drawn to projects with magnetic characters who resist easy identification because inspiring empathy for characters overcoming obstacles and struggling with mental health issues is crucial for creating a more compassionate world. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I keenly recognise the transformative power of representation. Truthful cinematic representation is the ultimate act of empathy, for it allows audience members to escape their reality and observe life through the eyes of others. Producing Practice
With an academic background in history and film studies, creating a compelling written argument out of the intangible beauty of cinematography is a great strength of mine. I enjoy applying my knack for visual and story analysis to the art of writing script coverage, pitching stories to executives and developing projects from source materials. I'm not obsessed with being centre stage; I love working alongside others towards a common, creative goal and being part of the puzzle. I endeavour to continue using my vivid imagination and analytical skills to pursue even the most ambitious and innovative creative projects to their fullest potential
Areas of Expertise
My greatest strength is my inquisitiveness. I'm a lifelong learner who has always viewed life with relentless intellectual curiosity. I’ve always had an insatiable drive to know more; I even had a childhood obsession with a dog encyclopaedia I read cover to cover like it was the latest bestseller. I’m not afraid of admitting when I don’t know how to do something and I’m tenacious in my dedication to develop new skills. I am thrilled by the endless possibility of learning more about the film/tv industry through fruitful collaborations
