Michael is a creative producer with over a decade of experience working across dance, theatre, live performance, fashion and film. He works in dialogue with artists to create performances, live & online events, participation projects and festivals. Recent choreographers and artists include; Adaire to Dance, Jean Abreu Dance, Sonny Nwachukwu/ Gateway Arts, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein, Lindy Nsingo, Matthieu Geffre, Joel O’Donoghue and Joshie Harriette. Other industry clients include, Diagonal Dance, Venice Biennale, Dance Umbrella Festival, Artangel, Sadler’s Wells, Greenwich Docklands International Festival, Sheffield Documentary Festival, Mint & Lime, Timebased and Chapman Burrell. Michael's work with Luca Silvestrini's Protein earned them Community Project of the Year at The Stage Awards 2023. Saturn Returns by Gateway Arts was nominated for Best Choreography at the Black British Theatre Awards 2022. In 2022 with Diagonal Dance, Michael co-founded Stretch, a two day event for tomorrow's dance sector. Stretch is a conference and showcase event open to everyone working in and around the dance sector, no matter the occupation or career stage. Michael is currently a member of IDMN, the Independent Dance Managers Network and was a member of Equity's Freelance Dancers Network and One Dance UK. He joined the Board of Directors for Independent Theatre Council in 2024.

Producing Practice
Turning concepts into creation, Michael shapes events, productions and projects, underpinned by a strong understanding of the cultural industries. Michael supports artists, choreographers and communities to realise their ideas; from independent research and development, to large scale intergenerational outdoor participation projects. Skilled in fundraising, Michael helps clients secure investments and develop creative partnerships.
Michael has worked directly in delivering projects with a wide range of community settings including, primary and secondary schools, pupil referral units, as well as refugees and migrants.
