Nicola (she/her) is a Scotland-based producer working across art-form. From managing festival stages to intimate theatre performance and small to mid scale touring her work covers an array of activity over the past decade. She now co-runs Scissor Kick Ltd a Glasgow based production company set up by Producer Stephanie Katie Hunter, together they produce live experiences nationally and internationally while providing general management services to independent artists and they champion artists that make observant, transformative and unsettling work.

Producing Practice
My practice is deeply routed in care and safeguarding ensuring that the needs of collaborators are met with kindness and understanding to allow people to thrive in their roles whether they are artists or technical staff, everyone matters. I have a deep knowledge and passion for circus having previously worked at a circus school so I tend to lean towards more physical practices and circus in particular.
