Sally Rose (she/her) is an experienced cultural worker, and long-time freelancer of 10 years. She is currently Senior Producer for Marlborough Productions. Most recently she has supported Kayza Rose (BLM Fest), Sheila Ghelani & Sue Palmer (Common Salt, Atmospheric Forces), Abigail Conway (RIDE, The Candle Project), and Duckie. She co-founded Producer Gathering with Xavier de Sousa - a network that seeks to develop, support, nourish and sustain freelance producers, supported by Marlborough Productions. She is a trustee and current co-chair of Chisenhale Dance Space - East London's champion of experimentation in dance and performance. Collaboration, experimentation and equity are guiding values. She is proud to have worked with and supported the development of world renowned artists and a wide range of organisations including; Rosana Cade (Walking:Holding), Cade & MacAskill (Moot Moot), The Famous Lauren Barri Holstein (NOTORIOUS), Dickie Beau (Lost in Trans), Vincent Gambini (This is not a magic show), Xavier de Sousa (POST) and Kit Green (Prurience), and organisations such as The Young Vic, BALTIC, Siobhan Davies Dance (CONTINUOUS), National Theatre Immersive Storytelling Centre, Wellcome Collection, and SPILL Festival of Performance.

Producing Practice
I support artists and companies with a specialism in Development: of ideas, projects, and fundraising - often crossing boundaries and genres. I am interested in specialism within the umbrella of 'Producing'. Sustainability, and properly valuing artists and freelancers are persistent lines of enquiry. Through formative and important collaborations with respected artists Sheila Ghelani & Rosana Cade ‘care’ has been a recurring interest of my practice. With each project I aim to develop my strategic skills and have a positive impact in society and the arts and culture sector.
