Bio
Lee (they/them) is a queer and trans producer based in West Sussex. They have over 10 years of producing and fundraising experience, more recently specialising in LGBTQ+ arts projects. Lee is currently Marlborough Productions’ Programme Producer, having started as a Freelancer on their Trans Pride Season and New Queers on the Block artist and community devleopment programme. As an Independent Producer, Lee has worked with several independent artists, most recently supporting live performance and theatre artist Emma Frankland on her live tour and digitisation of HEARTY; and spoken-word performer and activist Subira Joy on the development of Kill The Cop Inside Your Head. Lee also works with Milk Presents, previously producing their tour of Marty & The Party, a summer camp for emerging LGBTQIA+ artists, and providing support to emerging LGBTQIA+ artists and producers through the QueerChange programme with Curious Arts and Homotopia. Lee previously worked with New Writing South on their Hear Us Out programme celebrating older LGBTQIA+ people’s stories; and Marisa Carnesky on her Radical Cabaret School for emerging cabaret performers.

Producing Practice
Lee specialises in supporting underrepresented LGBTQ+ artists and arts projects but works more broadly across theatre, performance art, cabaret, and spoken word, with further experience in magic, installation, and digital projects. Access, intersectionality, care and wellbeing are central to Lee’s producing practice and collaborations.
As Programme Producer at Marlborough Productions, Lee is currently focusing on and enjoying Artist Development and Commissioning alongside Partnership Development and Management.
